Larry Kogovsek-President

 

Larry was trained in addiction treatment in the Central Oregon Community College Addictions and Human Services Program. He had run the Family Kitchen( homeless meal in Bend). He now provides recovery support to the homeless at various venues including Bend’s Church and the Cascade Peer Support and Self-Help Center.

Clifford Evelyn Sr.-Secretary

 

Clifford is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and attended U.S. Naval Management school in Algiers, LA. He was honorably discharged for the U.S Navy as a 2nd Class Petty Officer. Clifford is a former Clark County Sheriff’s Office Commander in Vancouver, Washington employed with them for 20 years. During that time held the position of Correctional Officer, Training Sergeant, Operations Lieutenant and Commander. He has also coached at risk youth in basketball, baseball and boxing. Clifford is also a motivational speaker and focusing on being active as an Incarceration Activist

Bill Trumble-Treasurer

 

William R. Trumble, Ph.D., received his bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Washington State University in Pullman, Wash., completed his Ph.D. in Medical Physiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Dallas, and did post-doctoral training in Molecular Biology at the Roche Institute of Molecular Biology in Nutley, New Jersey.
Bill began his career as a Project Director with Battelle NW Labs, at the Hanford National Laboratory in Richland, WA. After serving over a dozen years as a teaching and research faculty member at the University of Idaho, he took up new residence as the Dean of the School of Life Sciences and Agriculture at the University of New Hampshire and as Director of the New Hampshire Agricultural Experiment Station. He was a partner in founding Idaho Immunodiagnostics, Inc., and was President and CEO of the company until leaving Idaho to move to NH. Bill joined the State University of New York at Canton as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. He retired from Unity College in Maine as Senior Vice President and VP for Academic Affairs.

Skipper Lay

 

Raised in Austin, Texas, Lay graduated from High School there and earned an undergraduate degree (1964) and law degree (1966) from the University of Texas-Austin and U. of T. Law School. He is a member of a number of professional associations (and chair of several of them), and is experienced in trial and administrative law.
Skipper has managed or handled cases in personal injury, criminal, corporate, real estate, family, environmental and energy resources law. He was Assistant Director for one of the largest administrative agencies in Texas. For several years he also taught high school English and Social Studies classes. Lay is an activist in local, state and federal politics as well as immigration cases and racial and GLBTQ justice.
Lay is also serious about faith and spiritual matters, especially in the Methodist Denomination.
