Mental Health Services

 

New Priorities provides comprehensive behavioral and mental health treatment to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families in an effort to improve functioning and halt the negative effects of behavioral and/or mental health issues.

Using evidence-based practices our counselors work with the individual client to develop a treatment plan that most effectively addresses client concerns. Each plan takes into account specific needs of the client with emphasis being placed on the need to be safe and cared for, to show love and to have an arena for personal expression. By approaching treatment through this positive and optimistic view, self-worth, confidence and self-respect will develop and grow.

NPFS provides services in individual, couple and family formats while also offering group sessions based on client need. Common issues we provide services for are:

  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Anger Management
  • Family Conflict
  • Decision Making Skills
  • Self-Harm Behaviors

  • Grief/Loss
  • Suicidal Ideation
  • Co-Occurring Mental Health and Substance Use Issues
  • Spousal Conflict
